Specifies the 16-bit MAPI property type codes (the PT_* constants) carried in the low word of a MapiPropertyTag.

The property type is unspecified (PT_UNSPECIFIED).

Null = 1

No value is present (PT_NULL).

Int16 = 2

A signed 16-bit integer (PT_SHORT / PT_I2).

Int32 = 3

A signed 32-bit integer (PT_LONG / PT_I4).

Float = 4

A 32-bit IEEE floating-point value (PT_FLOAT / PT_R4).

Double = 5

A 64-bit IEEE floating-point value (PT_DOUBLE / PT_R8).

Currency = 6

A currency amount scaled by 10,000 (PT_CURRENCY).

AppTime = 7

An OLE automation date (PT_APPTIME).

ErrorCode = 10

A 32-bit error code (PT_ERROR).

Remarks

The values are the base type codes defined by MS-OXCDATA §2.11.1. A multi-valued property combines a base code with the 0x1000 flag, which MapiPropertyTag strips from Type and surfaces separately through IsMultiValued.
